I would recommend a motorbike taxi to Andaman Club, instead of Victoria point.

Quick speed boat takes you to a hotel (with casino and duty free) where you stamp into Mayanmar. You can come straight back on the same boat you arrived on, or you can spend some time at the hotel. Boats back to Thailand leave every hour or so.

Think you will have to get a single entry visa until your in sync again. You can ask ministry of Labour, but I don't think they will renew until 1 month before...

@Robert ******
no what I mean is if you use the multi entry visa for 15 months, then when you renew in Penang, you will only have 9 month on wp. If you use again multi entry for 15 months you will only have 6 month left. (After 30 months).

You have to keep your visa and wp in sync. If get 15 months out of your multi entry non-b then you will have 3 months less on your wp every 15 months. It's ok for the first year or two but then leaves you short.

Just to let you know, if you were unaware, you will get a 1 year multi entry visa. Border bounces every 90 days. Not a 1 year extension.

Burma is much closer... leave on night boat and you can be back in the afternoon the next day.

Yes no problem. Check your enter before date on your visa. As long as it's not passed already, then you will get 60 days.

Andaman club is a hotel/casino in Mayanmar. You still have to get a boat there and stamp in/out. The speed boat takes about 15 minutes as opposed to around 45 minutes if you get a longtail from the town. Anyone can go to Andaman, not just people with a multi-entry visa.
