When should I visit the immigration office for my 30-day consideration stamp given the holiday closure?

Last week I got this 30 day consideration stamp.

As the immigration will be closed on the 26th due to the Royal Cremation of His Majesty the Late King, is it likely that I will have to go before or after this date? I was told to ring the office a week before, but would like to plan ahead if possible.

Thanks.

Just a quick question but I thought the under consideration is one month 4th September to 26th October is almost 2 months. Is this the norm?

Yes, Tod. Although it's my first 1 year extension, so it is 30 day's from my last "admitted until" stamp on my multi non-O visa.

If I was to guess I'd say that they applied before the current admitted until stamp expired and the immigration office added the 30 day under consideration stamp onto their existing expiration date.

I could be wrong but I have seen that

Fair enough.

super busy or not, you go on the day your under consideration stamp says to go. They are not applying for a visa, they're getting it stamped into their passport. They turned in their paperwork on the 4th of Sept.

I would call them and check, but I'd imagine you could go the day before or the day after seeing as the 27th isn't listed as a holiday (yet).
