that is quite clever and scary... haha, I'm such an honest person I would be too worried to do it I think. But it's not a bad idea.

business registration, invoices, bank statement and bank balance, I also included a letter stating clearly what my role is and different streams of income that I have.

no worries, it's not a common name. It's just that i'm meeting my parents in Chiang Mai on the 6th of Feb, they;ve flown all the way from Australia... and my evisa expires 6th of Feb. So I am wondering if it might just be worth the risk. Normally I'd have no problem just hanging out and waiting, but the fact my vietnam entry stamp is only until 6th Feb concerns me and also family is here.... but if the office asked to see the stamp, surely they would note on their system I only have until 6th Feb? Not sure how that works..

I couldn't find info on it... I email the evisa team, but apparently you cant extend an evisa. Hopefully I get approved the day before or day of my flight, because most Aussies say it takes about 5 business days. I'm really hopeful. Have you ever heard of anyone getting called in for an interview in Hanoi? And is there any accounts of people getting asked to show their passport pages to the Hanoi office? The whole reason I picked this location is because it seemed a little more relaxed...

I heard that Hanoi don't really ask for interviews....
