 sure, it might be, but the lawyer called it a retirement visa so to me thats what it is. It allows me tovstay here legally for a year.

 ??? I have a retirement visa which is none of those. It clearly states retirement in my passport. The rules are very similar to OA but it is awarded within Thailand.
