We showed them the website. They said there’s nothing they can do about it.

They wanted to do chest X-rays which we refused and charged us $3k US dollars for 12 hours in the hospital

The hospital said since we are negative Axa won’t cover the costs of the hospital stay and made us pay to be released.

they retested us. The doctor said his hands are tied bc once you’re positive, you’re in the system.

Thai public health and the embassy finally contacted the police

I’m so happy to hear that. I have no doubt Thai medical care is wonderful. I sincerely believe it.

Unfortunately, there is confusion and chaos with regard to covid.

Please read my email to the embassy attached.

We spoke to the medical director and he was a wonderful man and saw and understood what we were saying. Unfortunately, there’s always red tape.
