i deposited the 800k when i came in on the TR visa (60+30) then produced the transfer paper trail while getting the O

I did TR then non O then retirement extension in Hua Hin. Lots of papers but no problems. It was easy with agent.

the point of an ASQ was tbat your location was known while in quarantine. When you come through airport your papers are checked and you are taken to the area where your hotel vehicle picks you up. If you try to beat the system you could end up in jail. Personally, if you cant afford asq or want to cheat it, you present a risk to our society and you should not come.
