/20, but a personal medical emergency stopped me, then the pandemic. I’ve been to Thailand 3 times but never the islands. Anyway, I don’t think the type of travel we like is easy on a long-term visa. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s even possible without an Elite Visa.
Right now, enjoy your trip. When you get home, go to the press with your story. Get as much attention as possible. Be as public as possible. Make some noise.
as long as there are people unwilling to take simple precautions, lockdowns will continue to be necessary. Sadly, the people complaining the most are the ones causing us to be in this situation
the bans are pretty stupid. They discourage scientists, or the governments scientists are in, from announcing their findings when an issue is found. Just because the new variant was found in Africa, does not mean it started there nor that it is even close to being isolated there (which it already was not). It only means S. Africa had great scientists who identified it.
