You attend in person for the interview, bring all the docs you submitted. They will ask most likely questions relating to your job, reasons for applying, etc. Make sure you can show the balance of your account 500k THB on your phone.

If you extend your stay at immigration you will need to provide proof of your new employment. Doing a border run, there is no current requirement to provide such docs but an IO could ask for proof of employment,

Yes, as I did an in person application in Taipei. Everywhere now is online, so you only visit the embassy if asked for an interview.
