Hi all,

For the DTV, does the application status changing from "pending document check" to "pending approval" mean that your chances of success have improved?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, changing the application status to 'pending approval' generally indicates that your chances of success have improved, as it suggests you have passed initial checks and your application is being reviewed by a more senior officer. However, it is not a guarantee of approval, and there could still be a request for additional documentation.

In my case it was. I got it 4 days after extra doc submission. Best of luck!

Improved somewhat. It means you've passed the initial sift and its now been passed to someone more senior to look at

Yes, but it is not a complete guarantee of approval or that you will not be asked for further documentation
