@Aminul ******
yeah, it’s a stressful process the first time for sure. Glad I’m sorted until November next year haha

I collected my first ever extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai wife from Chaengwattana and they didn’t do a home visit for us either. I had no problems collecting my extension of stay. You’ll be fine mate

Good luck mate. I just closed the loop on the same process a few days ago. I miss border bounces too

I think you need to have done one in person previously in order to do it online. The first time requires attendance in person. I believe anyway

When I did my extension of stay, my wife asked the reception desk as you walk in for a few spare copies. They gladly handed her 3 or so of each of the required ones 🙂. Maybe you can ask when you collect you extension after the 30 day consideration

If you do somehow get a multiple entry non o and manage to get here, you will be admitted for 90 days

i shall keep you posted 🙂. I was thinking of taking my UK statement and confirmation from TransferWise as proof. But Tod mentioned above that this applies to applying for a 90 day non o inside Thailand. I already have a multiple entry non o but just changed to the 60 day visit friends and family visa. So I am not sure if it applies still

Edit: ok, Benjamin’s comment put an end to my plan haha. Will ask my wife to call immigration for me and check 😀

I was in the exact same boat as you but I just got the 60 day visit friends and family extension on Monday. Was very easy to do and only took an hour or so at Chaeng Wattana. I am currently waiting for my funds to season to get the year long extension of stay. With Covid, it seems risky to rely on the border bounce.
