Depending on the embassy you are applying through the requirements are slightly different (seems strange but it’s true)

Generally you don’t need to have the hotel or flight booked to apply for a visa (tr). You need to have the flight number though (donuts a good idea to find the flight(s) you intend to take)

Yea after quarantine you are free to move around the country. There are no domestic travel restrictions Thailand

hmm in Canada we don't upload the flight info until its conditionally approved.

Yes you can start the process. However they’ll need you to upload a picture of your visa once you receive it. Then a quick COE approval then upload flight info and you should have your COE within a few hours or a day

the COE was also a simple process. You get your passport back with the visa take a picture of the visa and upload to the COE website along with insurance certificate and wait a few hours to a day. Check the process and if the consulate needs anything more they’ll state in the program. If approved you upload your flight info and then the COE is generated as quickly as a few hours.

exactly. find the flight you want to take. note the flight number, if its a connecting flight. IE. I am flying YVR to TPE to BKK. on my Visa app i put the TPE to BKK flight number. it was accepted. When I applied for my COE, it could be a different flight number, (it wasn't) as the COE is given for your specific flights you booked
