On a visitors VISA technically 4 times a year you can fly in and I think 2 times a year border crossing. It's really up to the agent anytime after that. If it's been working for you I wouldn't worry much about it. Worse case just get a DTV VISA or any other multiple entries VISA.
yeah if you want to do it yourself it's still 2,000 baht plus you have to pay for photos and takes about 4 hours. If you go through an agent they charge 5,000 you just drop your documents off and come get them the next day. If you are on vacation I recommend just using an agent your time is worth more than the extra 2 or 3,000 baht you will save doing it yourself.
Just check into a cheap hotel and ask for a tm30 then take it back to immigrations. Agents will help you out and have it done for you same day in jomtien. There is one 2 downs up from thw immigrations office that charges 5,000 baht. It says photo shop or photo copy shop on it.
yeah I couldn't do it on my own without going to an immigrations office and bringing back a form because i was on a visitors visa. Immigrations is like a 40 minute drive one way so i paid an agent 5,000 baht to avoid long lines and a drive to immigrations. Once I got to the bank the next day the agent already had several forms filled out for me. Then that generated additional forms once they were turned in and checked all the data they made a bank card then they made a checking book. Then we had to set the app up for mobile banking that took a while. All together in and out in about an hour. Not counting the previous day waiting in line and was told I needed a form from immigrations first.
i just opened an account at bangkok bank with an agent helping the teller with paperwork it still took almost 1 hour for them to make the account. Setting up the app alone took 15 minutes. The agent got paid 5,000 baht.
