Thank you Dennis for your very clear warning. I will consider it in my decision makings.

I can get easily a non immigrant O visa. My problem is the Thai banks at the moment. My account and thousands others were locked without any warning and any reason. Still many people are struggling with this issue.

I hear from many people who decided to get OA Visa next time. Me included.

Brian Dillon the reason is I don't want to put hundreds of thousands of Baht in Thai Bank. Recently I and thousands others got blocked for no reason. We all should go hundreds of kilometers to unblock our accounts in the branch where we opened our accounts. That is enough. This time I will apply for a OA visa and I have 2 years stress free time. The only thing I will need to do is the 90 days report. I will put some money for weekly needs just to use the scan payment system sometimes. But never put big amount of money anywhere in Thailand. Enough is enough. 😊🙏

With a OA visa you only need to show that you have the required money on your home country bank and not in Thai bank.

we are not talking about that.

We are talking about a Bank in Thailand that forces you to go to the branch in a city where you don't live anymore just only to verify yourself. I was in two other branches and presented my passport and everything needed but they cannot do anything. Now I have to pay for the journey to that city and waste my valuable time for only getting verified within some minutes and then come back to where I am now.
