Can I extend my tourist visa in Nonthaburi for 60 days instead of just 30 days?

Question

Hello to everyone, today I was looking for information about the extension of visa for 30 days ( tourist) in Nonthaburi. On the website of the immigration office of Nonthaburi I found a link where one can apply for the extension online and then after payment get an appointment for the stamp of the extension in passport. It was Interesting that you could give your days of extension manually in the adequate field.
Does anyone have any experience with getting another 60 days extension or no matter what you write there you will get only 30 days? I wrote 60 days and this was not rejected on the site.
Thank you for your information in advance.
Please write only something
if you have exact information. 🙏😊🙏

Ask Thailand · Answer

The user inquires about the possibility of extending their tourist visa for 30 days in Nonthaburi, mentioning an online application process. Comments suggest that the system only permits a one-time 30-day extension for tourist visas, and any request for a 60-day extension is unlikely to be granted unless one has family ties in Thailand. The online service is deemed unnecessary, as the same appointment can be made for free directly through the immigration office.

Do not even consider the online appointment system, it's a waste of money and time. Head to your local immigration office.

The only way you can get a 60 day extension is if you have thai family. Tourist extensions are limited to one 30 day extension then you have to leave

The only "benefit" to using this service is the appointment. But you can make an appointment for free, so there's not actually any benefit to using this service. And you get to pay extra for it too.

So you submit all the required documents online. Then you must bring all of those documents with you to the immigration to get your extension stamp. It will be a 30 day tourism extension, it will not be 60 days, or any other number than 30. All tourism extensions are 30 days.
