I've got a copy from last year but imagine they'll want an original. Since the income is based on pensions the amounts will only increase. Oh well, I'll play the paperwork game.

I'm glad it worked for you but I dare say they probably had a vested interest in prescribing that under their brand since as Amy Baron stated it, or a similar product, can likely be easily found at a fraction of the price. Buy hey, business exist to make a profit, right.

I can personally recommend this clinic if you have further need for dermatology services. Dr. Vachiraporn works at Chiang Mai Ram during the day. Going to the clinic eliminates hospital related charges, which at CM Ram add up quickly.

Unless something's changed since April of this year the Canadian Consulate office in Chiang Mai (superhighway) will issue an income letter assuming you meet the threshold for 1,250 baht.

Use the address of a friend or family member to maintain a banking connection in Canada.

Note - Ontario has a 2 year residency exemption available for our provincial health care plan coverage (OHIP). Not sure about BC. That would negate the need for a 3 month wait to get back on provincial health care train if you decided to come back for any reason.

If you've never been to Thailand before you're most likely going to love it. If you have, then you already know.

Good luck!

I'm facing the same upcoming issue but from Canada. I don't feel it should be required because I've got a Non-O Visa stamp valid until
*****
and Re-Entry permit stamps in my passport. Hmm, denied boarding compensation claim? I'm in no rush, well not really. I'll find out in a couple of weeks.

Shame the Thai Embassy in Ottawa doesn't handle walk-ins any longer. Used to be a 3 day turnaround. I got stung the year they went online. Email with Visa arrived 5 hours after I cleared Immigration at BKK. 😩.
