I've asked before here about the parental rights process..do I just go to any local amphur with my ex and kids and get a paper? Is it quick and easy?

That was me and it's out the window cos need to show the money going in every month for 12 months before the extension. I've got a 12 month extension sorted for 25,000 now. 😏

Savannahaket..all the tour vans go there now. The border was dead this morning. I arrived at the consulate at 8:15 and I was the first there.

I almost feel sorry for the touts outside who ain't gonna be making much today. No takers for a 100baht visa form..

I'm number 59 for a non o visa. I only saw 15 or 20 'ferrang' at the border here for visas.

I just arrived at the consulate..nobody outside. An hour before it opens and I'm the first one here. The quietest I've seen it in 18 years. There were less than 50 people at the border, now all the van companies go to Savannahaket apparently.

Go on a Friday and stay the weekend, there's still 72 slots left now. I'll be there in 8 hours or so. I'm #059. I'll give the full SP tomorrow.
