What essential items should I bring for my first trip to Thailand apart from my tickets and passport?

Depending on when you are travelling, I would book significant hotels before you land. Everyone and their sister is travelling now.

Pack your suitcase, then take out half the clothes.

Whatever $$$ you have allocated. Double it if you can. And bring some cash on pocket. About $500 USD.

Otherwise, bring a smile, and an open mind.

Extend the 45 day exempt for 30 days, Head to Kuala Lumpur or Phnom Penh for a border "bounce" (evisa needed for Cambodia) and stay a few days. Then head back to Thailand and repeat. Perfect time to visit Siem Reap.

It basically just says international transfer, or transfer.if you have a busy account, you sometimes have to stop and think which transaction is which.
