Anonymous participant my advice. if there is any doubt - get it fixed. or ask the issuing embassy for clarification. i did mine online so there was no one to speak to, but i was recently trapped for two days airside with no airside hotel when there was an issue with a transit visa not being issued on time. not fun.
in my experience border control people are sticklers for rules and have zero sense of humour about those that break them - even if they are sympathetic.
if nothing else it will cause delays while they ask their supervisor if it is ok or not - or will cause to to be detained while they sort it out.
Anonymous participant did you make the mistake or did they? log back into the evisa site and check. if it was in person should have probably been raised before you left. every in person visa and residency i’ve ever done the clerk triple checks and asks you tp verify the name is exactly correct and matches your passport. i’d definitely be getting it corrected. why risk getting turned back at the border. just feeling like you need to ask the question should be enough to flag that it needs to be fixed.
