There is no ATM before immigration and they do not let you go go to one and you can't show them a bank balance, it must be cash. A ''stupid rule" can still get you put on a plane back home. Always be prepared. By profile, I mean it is 100% up to the IO as to who they want to admit.

Let's hope you are never asked then....There is no profile. If they are having a bad day they might ask. It is their right to do so at any time and they don't need a reason.....

Oh sorry. Yes the blue book for the house where the baby is registered is in Sakon Nahkon as missus and baby are there for a while. So I was wondering if she can take a copy and send it to me in Pattaya...as I don't want to send the original in the mail. So can copies of all the required docs be used without showing the originals..? and do they need official verifications....or can she just sign them..? Or do all original documents need to be shown. ie at present I do not have her ID, the blue book, the birth cert, etc....as all with her....she won't be back for a while and I need to extend soon.
