Hi, I am on a non-B visa extension based on a work permit. I am leaving my job at the end of the month, flight out of Thailand on the 30th. Is it myself or my employer who is responsible for cancelling the work permit and visa? Do I need to ask them for a letter to take to immigration, like in the case of the student visa, or am I OK to just leave at the end of the notice period? I would like to have the option of returning on a tourist stamp in the future.

Do I need to show bank statements for a 60 day tourist visa at Vientiane? If so, how much? I believe I read that they might ask for proof of 20K in baht at the border, not sure if this is cash or bank statement. Just want to make sure before I take the trip this weekend. Thanks everyone!
