Yes but if you are a NON resident and work and get paid outside of Austalia you do not pay any work income tax at all. The taxes you pay are only on rental income that originates from inside of Australia. So you save 40 - 47% on all of your work income which, if you get paid well, outweighs the tax free threshold and Super combined.

You are getting a visa. No limit. But eventually they might pull you up on it for not being a real tourist ;)

For tax issues....Register as a NON resident with the ATO. Get a bank account outside of Oz and get your pay sent to it. Stay out of the country for 182 days a year. If you have a house in Oz, rent it out or sell it. Lodge a tax return every year. That is all I can think of...for visa....I don't know how old you are....

is there any new links or info on average Landlords being able to submit the TM30 online..? or is it only registered businesses. I know you sent a link before. It doesn't work. I am trying to find out if my Landlord can register.

You need to show in your OZZIE bank for the initial OA in Oz....If you go for a 12 month extension based on retirement later while IN Thailand, you technically need it in a Thai bank...unless you use an agent who ''arranges' it for you.
