Can you enter Thailand on a visa exempt at Don Muang Airport and obtain a 90-day stay?

From my understanding if you want to stay for 90 days you need to get a 60 day tourist visa and then a 30 day extension

That is what we are doing from Canada

Can I get a 45-day visa on arrival to Thailand and extend it to 90 days?

We are in the same boat visiting Thailand for 90 days

We are getting the 60 day tourist visa then I have been told SHA hotels can get you the paperwork for the 30 day extension.

That was my plan , wasn’t sure if the STV would be better if it gets extended

We are going to be in Lipe

One week there, leaving on day 60, the two week before Lipe we will be on Lanta for two weeks

Just trying to figure out where to get the extension

Would you know if you can do it any immigration office?

We will be in Koh Lipe for 7 days which ends at day 60

I wonder if they can do it

I guess we can leave early and go to Krabi office

I am revising my dates so we will be 90 days

So we will get the 60 day visa and a 30 days extension or border run
