TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully extended their 60-day tourist visa at Krabi immigration without needing to leave the country. It took only 10 minutes, and they received excellent service. Other comments inquire about the possibility of extending visas at different immigration offices, the fees for extensions (which are generally 1,900 THB), and payment methods, noting that cash is required.

Do you pay the visa extension in cash? Do they accept credit cards?

Would you know if you can do it any immigration office?

We will be in Koh Lipe for 7 days which ends at day 60

I wonder if they can do it

I guess we can leave early and go to Krabi office

you have to do it where your TM30 is registered. So if you're on Koh Lipe in a hotel then they should do a TM30 for you, as required by law, then you can extend there if there's an immigration office there anyway.

You also don't have to do it on the last day. If you have less than 30 days left on your stay then you can do it now and the days will be added on to your current expiry date.
