45 days visa-free entry, extendable another 30 days. This includes the 15 days quarantine. So you can still get 60 days to run amok amongst all the closed bars and clubs!

Just be careful with the bank letter, as this has to be an original, and depending on your bank might have to be obtained from your specific branch. Some immigration offices required it to be dated no more than two days prior to the application date, which might cause a problem if coming by mail. So check this also at immigration, as you might need to make arrangements with a local branch of your bank. I'm confident it can be done, although banks love charging fees!

Albert Alegre. Retirement visa extension you only have to go once a year. It's no big deal with the booking system. In and out in less than an hour. And the satisfaction of knowing it's totally legal with no chance of it coming back to bite you!

Most visas through an agent are in the to bracket. Legal visas are generally 2000 baht.
