You have been granted a multientry Visa not requiring any requalification unless you try to extend in Thailand at Immigration.

You will be then subject to whatever criteria they ask.

IF you just leave and renter at 6 month increments you are clear of any further documentation.

That is the current Visa requirements and rules, however going forward you just never know what will change.

As it stands 6 months on entry, leave and reenter for 5 years.

You're not technically even required to attend as it is "soft power" leisure/tourist activity.

if you went overstay, a few days etc, You would pay the fine and when you reenter it continues as normal.

If you go serious overstay you would get fined and banned as usual rules.

He did not receive an extension yet.

He said it's due in February.

So at this point, no one can can confirm anything.

UNTIL someone gets an approved extension and then even offices will differ.

So it is still speculation.
