Hi, when applying for DTV does the financial evidence need to be in “baht”? And if so, is a wise account okay?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa, the financial evidence does not necessarily need to be in Thai baht, provided there is an easy way to convert the amount to baht. However, the acceptance of a Wise account as proof of funds can vary by consulate, as it is not a traditional bank and some may not accept it.
did you put the money in within weeks/one month of applying - or had the funds been in the account for months prior. Just trying to work out if they are suspect on those transferring in funds within weeks of applying to avoid people gaming the system.
FinTec like Wise and Revolut are not accepted at every embassy. some might be okay with it. better use a real bank from your home country.
i would also never ever leave so much money in these fintec services. too many horror stories all the time if you follow digital nomad forums and those of revolut and wise…
Doesn't need to be in baht as long as it's equivalent or the amount stated by the consulate. Wise may or may not be accepted as its not officially a bank, some consulates allow it and others don't
