Saw only some foreign backpacker trying to get a ride. I guess mist This would not know what waving thump could mean. However, I have often take local people with me when they asked me if it was going there and if they could join. Traveling/wandering Monks are also sometimes happy to get a ride and come with some blessings.

you can become the house master of the house you are stay in which is owned by your wife or daughter and can do your TM 30 as the house master. I did it during Covid with no problems. If you are on a retirement visa nothing will really change. You apply again every year like before. However, it is up to the new owner/family where you can stay.

Education visa to learn Thai language. It gets a year or two to stay. Then you will know more about your desired next steps. You might be married by then and will stay on a 'spouse ' visa for ever.

there is a big parking place opposite the road for parking when the Immigration place has no place for parking (only drive through), please explain what your suggestion is to improve. (Don't complain, but come up with ideas of (realistic) improvements, you are a guest of a country where you do not earn privileges because of money or pensions).

they all belong to the same Swiss/EU based company, using the same 'under utilised' Internet capacities and offering calls into US and many other countries at extremely low costs (cents per minutes or FOC). Call quality is great and I use it for all the international phone calls I (still) have to make here and there. There is a Mobile app 'MobileVOIP' from the same company which allows any of their (see above) accounts used on your phone. The various offers differ only in call rates per country but basically, they are all the same or varies in the combination of foc countries. One of the above offers will fit your purpose. As they support SIP services, a small SIP-to-phone box turns your old desk phone into a modern VOIP based phone and works like any phone, it is only you do not need a phone line anymore. Such a box is where you put a LAN/Internet cable in on one side and a phone cable in on the other side and your old phone is back 'online' (after some configuration of the box, similar to a modem configuration).
