Why waste twenty four hours by stamping entry with only half an hour of the day left.

Keep your accusations to yourself. I don't stay in Thailand, so how do you work out that I have a fraudulent visa extension. Also, why aren't you condemning the agents, or is that too uncomfortable for you. Just another keyboard warrior. Seems Thailand is full of righteous farangs. Maybe people like you are on a mission to clean up corruption. Good luck with that 😆

Hi, can this be done online without a farang having to go to an immigration office, by a Thai whose house you'd be staying at?

Thanks for any advice.

These Thai questions and answers are like a stuck needle on a gramophone player.

When I passed immigration last December 1st. The IO., guy was extremely friendly, polite and smiled. That made my day on arrival. Then I was questioned in a service station coffee shop by two immigration police. They wondered why I was a farang alone? Understandable. Didn't have my passport on me, but had scanned relevant pages in case I got asked by any officials. Problem was I couldn't find the scans in my phone because of all the junk I've got in the phone. So I asked if they'd like to speak to a Thai friend? They said yes, so I called my friend who happened to be near the coffee shop. He came, spoke to the officers, told my friend on Monday we need to go to immigration and register that I was staying at the Thai families home. This was on Friday early afternoon and the immigration office was about 50 km from where we were, that's why the officers told us to go on Monday. This was on Friday. My friend went about his business, I got on my motorbike and set off back to where I was staying about 25 km away. I was riding on a country road and the officers passed me, tooted their horn and the passenger officer waved out of his window. How nice, these are the reasons why some expats, me included love Thailand. I'd already been in Thailand about a week when we went to immigration. My friend gave his id card to immigration officer who filled out a small document with my passport details and the address where I was staying. Wasn't fined and went on our way.

Only reason to use an agent to get you a visa extension is if you don't have the 800k in a Thai bank account. This is what you are charged for by the agents.

Don't understand why people who are obviously on these FB pages regularly have to keep replying to the same old questions several times. I just read shoot then move on and don't copy & paste answer/replies to questionnaires.
