First year 50 to 60k

2 nd year onwards cheaper15 to 25k.

These are the TRUE figures. Don't listen to those who state under 30 k for the FIRST visa

Denis Paradis Really?

I was thinking of doing the 65k a month instead of showing 800k in the bank annually.

I had no problem 2 weeks ago asking for a statement for the last 12 months in Pattaya..with Bangkok Bank

Nick Woods it is the same every year.

I'm now on retirement visa.. previously marriage which is more arduous.

The main point is having 800k in the bank for most of the year or 65k monthly from abroad.

Usually you can do it 35 days in advance and you don't lose days by doing it early

The OP post is correct but it could vary by area.

I suggest going to your immigration office and ask for details to renew.

They have always had it printed out

Some offices don't accept a print out from Google maps for your location..only handwritten.

Do it early so you have time to apply again should you be turned down for some reason

if paying cash for utilities get a receipt or pay online. Take a photo of the meter readings in case they are exaggerated.

Also a video of the room showing everything is in order...just in case things escalate in the future
