If your country is visa exempt, 60 days, then 30 day extension, then hop over a border somewhere and come back in, get another 60 day stamp. If you go into Laos, I believe the visa at the Laos border is now $40 USD, it used to be $30 when I used to do border bounces at Nong Khai.

What should I do if my multiple entry visa validity starts from the application date instead of my intended entry date?

❓ If you enter Thailand on visa exempt 60 days then get 30 day extension. Then if you left say at Nong Khai could you get a METV at the Thai consulate in Vientiane and would you need to make an appointment? Appreciate answer from anyone whose done this, or anyone who knows the answer 100%.

The new DTV visa, applying on the soft power agenda, you can get the visa for Muay Thai training and several other ways to get the visa. ie., Thai cooking courses, Dental appointments, Medical appointments, sports? Whatever that means and some other education categories.

Yes, unfortunately, I was hoteled there by my company before going offshore, but fortunately the hotel was in North Pattaya, Soi 2.

I'm suspicious that the banks are fed up with foreigners opening bank accounts that are not really used for anything and cost the banks money, so they have a collective opinion to not let anyone open accounts unless they have long term visas. If this is the case you can't blame them.

Only houses you cannot own. Condos you can own. Houses you can own, but you have to lease the land it is on from a Thai landowner, which could be complicated.
