- Yes but had no fixed plan. I did 60 days visa, extended 30 days then Cambodia for one night. Returned with 30 days exemption and extended 30 more before returning to the uk 🇬🇧
- on my visit last year I only had a one way as was unsure of my plans. I flew Thai airways. I was worried about needing one so I booked a very cheap refundable flight from Bangkok to Cambodia just in case. I wasn’t asked so I then changed the flight date and used it later for a border run 👍
I was asked for the first time ever by Qatar at London Gatwick this month. Never been asked before in over 20+ visits. (I had a return ticket so no issue)
- give them your documents and tm30 (as stated I checked into a hotel for that 1 night and got a copy) they will take your photo inside the immigration office and you leave them to do everything. Just return to collect your passport.
- if you do it yourself get there mega early. I made an appointment but it was useless. You will queue for a long time and you will be sent from one desk to another and queue again. If you have plenty of time and patience you can save 2k baht. I done most of the work and spent most of the day then got given a day to return for the stamp several days later. I couldn’t wait as had travel plans. I paid the agent and collected passport with stamp next day. It’s difficult on purpose 🤷‍♂️
