Do not rise to the bait ? Most people on these forums are pretty helpful if a person asks for help . I would not dream of making a nasty remark to a total stranger .I think some people are rather blinkered and Myopic ( Just my view) . My Thai Wife told me a long time ago ( Do not believe everything you read /see on Forums).Good Luck with your journey )

Alan Balding I think the reality is a lot of Thai people have extended Family living arrangements ?I am married to a Thai lady and have seen that Grandparents often live in an annex of the Main house .I have also noticed that Older people are treated with great respect and reverence- We could learn a lot of good things from Thai society ?

I agree with your thoughts . If a Company cannot resolve a query /problem they do not inspire any confidence with potential customers to book a seat...

That is the irony of the UK System. My Thai wife has been in the UK 5 years . If you do it the legal way it is a long hard road - It will test your relationship/Patience and your wallet. I have retired last year - So ideally I hope to have a foot in both places . I love Thailand /Thai people . The only thing I hate is Bangkok traffic jams ..... Good luck with your case .

Why not pay for a small container ahead of your journey ? There is a Shipping company who do small containers to Thailand . The company is called Seven Sea Worldwide .

I have stopped here a couple of times . Great location to the river /BTS and Museum . The Food was excellent . Hotel was clean . My only minor point was that the noise does transmit through the walls . I would recommend this Hotel. Please note there is a Further Ibis in the town ( Sorry forgot the name )

Good /Sound Advice . My Wife used to work for a shipping company -The import tariffs were very high .The idea is to protect the home producer .

I agree with all your thoughts about Thailand . I think if you show respect and smile it gets you through a Holiday with no problems or stress . It helps that I have my Thai wife to guide me /Advice . I am a great believer in the saying - When in Rome , Do as the Romans Do ..... Simple...😃
