I did 2 one for my mum that took a few days as she had the money in her account for 3 months. Mine took longer as I did not have the funds in one account. In the end the accepted just having the funds in my account at that time. Top tip, if you have any issues write a letter in word and send it instead of the document you are supposed to and they ring you up to help you. Well that's what I did.

Hi kool, yes I have no problem transferring the crypto to my Thai bank account when I live there. I just want to leave it in my wallet for as long as possible.

As you are probably aware Thai rules change quite often and as they are offering 5 years tax free crypto trading now for a incentive for traders to move to Thailand the visa commitments may be changing also. So worth asking.

hopefully in a years time I will be a tax resident so no tax on crypto.

Yep. i have emailed the Thai consulate for advice.

it is but would need to transfer crypto to my bank. This would trigger capital gains tax. And as Wayne North says hopefully crypto is going up in a few months if all goes to plan.

One of the reasons I come to pattaya I like walking here. I do around 8 miles non stop up and down beach road (every few days) there is no way I would do that in the uk.
