Anonymous participant So what are your options now if you are here on a long overstay? Probably best to head to airport with a flight booked and the 20k for the max fine? That what my friend had to do. He did this back in 2016 I think it was before the long blacklisting was implemented. He had a 10 year overstay.

I was told in particular about this in CM by my property agent. She said just message and she redoes it. In Jomtien I went in person to redo TM30 myself. One time it was processed. Next time pretty much chased away with No Need No Need. It is all party of life's rich tapestry of living here lol. During Covid our whole office had to start the 90 Day reports. Previously everyone travelled frequently so no need. Nobody had ever done TM30 and never did. BOI one stop shop

Wow. Over the years they have swung one way then the other. My last few times never redid the TM30 there and no issue. In Chiang Mai my agent told me it had to be done and tell her each time I came back.

Jomtien kept changing their minds over this. For the last few trips out of Rhailand and returns did not in Jomtien. 90 Day report do and no issue. Chiang Mai must redo TM30. Agent does it in minutes. A re-entry permit has nothing to do with TM30.

For point 1 it is another "Depends on the Office" question about redoing TM30 when returning to same address from overseas trip. Jomtien there was no need. Chiang Mai must do.

Anonymous participant Someone will know exact steps. I do know you need 1) Residence Certificate from Immigration 2) Medical Certificate

Are you looking to convert a home country license or get a whole new Thai one? Slightly different for each so people can point you in right direction.
