Padkrapow4549 I think you are hitting the nail on the head. There is not really a binary criteria regarding approval. It comes down to the Embassy staff doing the initial screening and then the consular staff doing the approval. It seems to be down to discretion with no real clarity either at an embassy or across embassies/locations.

Anonymous participant 436 Or the Consular Officer who gives final approval ticks the box in batches when they have time. I think someone from the Embassy in UK posts in here. They will know.

One mentioned on here was Bangladesh. Someone posted they told him it goes off to London for decision.

Locally in London. There are only a few countries where applications must be sent to Bangkok for approval.

You are talking about TM30 and not 90 Day Reporting which is TM47. The landlord or responsible person for your accommodation should report the TM30 within 24 hours of arrival at that accommodation. If a hotel then they do it. If private accommodation then the landlord or their agent should do it. The TM30 is still required on top of the TDAC.

As I said above you will need to have the issuing Embassy cancel it. This came up recently. Certain agencies may be able to help as well. Hope it all works out for you.

The Embassy issuing it needs to cancel it. However, it is known for agencies with connections to be able to facilitate this which I am sure there will be a fee for.

I can only remember SP. It does not make sense to get a TR as no work allowed.

So you got a METV? Not seen a post where anyone was given this instead of DTV except for Soft Power - never seen it for Workaytion. Strictly speaking, you are not allowed to work remotely on a TR visa of any kind, even remotely. Hope you do not have to ait fro the METv to expire before you can apply elsewhere - ask Mumbai Embassy to cancel it.
