Dear all, I have a different situation as I never seen this kind of question here. I have Airbnb’s in my home country and I manage that online, would it count as a source of income and prove of online work for the DTV visa? (Of course I have way more than the asked money on my bank account 😁)
Thank you all in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community suggests that Airbnb income can qualify as a source of income for the DTV visa, provided the applicant demonstrates consistent bookings and solid income through documentation. It's important to have evidence such as booking listings, profiles, and tax compliance. Several members confirm that others have successfully used rental property management income for their visa applications.
yes.. I did the same. u need to have frequent bookings and and solid income with it. they will want to see the listings, your airbnb profile and the bookings of this year (u can download the pdf in the host section or make a screenshot).
Anonymer Teilnehmer 747 and as others mentioned u need to pay taxes (they required to see my tax number and statement)... that at least was with my embassy. maybe yours is different.
It’s complex as I started with this on January, 9 months ago and I didn’t make my income tax return for this year yet, how can I show tax payment them?! lol. Thank you for explaining Peter, everybody is saying that I need to have already paid tax for this.
they didn't ask me for tax returns in laos vientiane but they did make me wait two weeks for an in person interview after paying 10k baht in laos vientiane all DTV visa have an in person interview in laos vientiane as of a couple months ago they posted a screen shot of a poster stated it , its really hard to find it ,grok over looked it. use grok AI helps a lot. if your from the USA you technically have 3 years to file back taxes . I was going to show them house property taxes if they asked but they never did. each embassy will be different i only know what laos vientiane embassy was like.
