Not Cambodia at the moment. That was the advice given at 2 DTV promotion events on Friday in Chiang Mai. It was also hinted it is better to apply at home rather than travel to apply if possible. If someone already in Thailand for a while going locally makes sense. Travelling just to apply not so much.

Check how long the embassy you are applying at required the money to be in your account. Different embassies have different requirements.

Not heard of any checks on entry. For extension in country you need to show it again and that it has been in account 30 days.

At the DTV promotion meetings I was at Friday they def mentioned recent lump sum deposits just to qualify for the financial requirement look suspicious to some Embassies. If someone does this I would say they should explain it in the cover letter.

1) Each Embassy has its own requoremts regarding accout type 2) Same applies to how long the money must be in the account
