It looks like nothing is holding you in Australia. The problem will be immigration. It is less the number of times you fly in and out but the duration of your stays. The safest way is one of the long stay visas.

when faced with options “A”, or “B” - Thailand usually opts for “C” … there is a lot of noise but little substance at this point … similar to the tourism tax that was eventually axed.
