TLDR : Answer Summary
A user recently renewed their Retirement extension at the Korat immigration office and received an unfamiliar form that raised questions among the community. Comments indicate that this form could be related to bank account verification, requiring details about the account balance that must align with bank statements. Some users noted that the form has been used in Korat for visa extensions for several years, but there are concerns about its validity and necessity. Overall, it appears to be a topic of interest for those dealing with retirement visas and the specific requirements at the Korat immigration office.

No form number TMxxx, looks dubiously intrusive for financial details.

In imm. Korat, they use it already long time for a year extension. Although I (Dutch) still can get an income statement from my Embassy, I still have to fill this in. So I only use, besides my address, only option 2.

This is the form where you have to enter and confirm your bank, bank account and current account balance. The account balance must match the bank statement letter. This form has been around for a long time.

I didn't get it last year

I think correct. 4-5 years ago, I was told that it only was for Korat imm. So, seems that more imm. offices use this one.

Maybe the form they use to collect info and then they input it into the official TM7 in their systems?

Or a new form to have due to all the latest banking issues so they want an affidavit of income and baht in the bank perhaps?

By the way, how was it getting a visa renewal at the Korat immigration branch and how hard was it to get a bank account opened there?

I am moving there in February to Pak Chong and will need to go there for my extension for the Non O Retirement visa

The Korat Immigration is very good. No problems. Banks? I've had my account a long time, so I do not know the current situation in Korat.

If you get your Non-O in Thailand most Immigration Offices will only grant you the first extension if you got the Non-O there.

Looks like a local unauthorized form. Be careful!
Glenn *****
It's actually an Army enrollment form for 3 years.
David *******
It's not the form used at CW. Never seen this before

You didn't have to fill it out,or what?

ask the immigration. if they give it to you they want that you fill it.

@Christian *******
That's not the correct form. TM7 is the only official form for extensions, meaning it's used for both 30 days and 365 days extensions.

ok. when the immigration give it to you you can discuss that with them that you do not need it. Good luck.
