yes, they oddly assume that rich people don't commit crimes. And yet probably all the people involved in the crimes lately (the Chinese torture gang, the murdering motorcycle clubs) have access to plenty of funds.

I believe the only source for this speculation is this article, in which Big Joke says the requirements are too low

Oh I'm definitely lazy, but not as lazy as you! You can't even back up a simple assertion on a group which is devoted towards helping people find answers to visa questions! That's almost surely because you are incorrect. However, I'd be happy for you to prove me wrong. If you're so smart and hard working it should be no problem for you to find a simple link to an article!

Yes the entry requirements to Thailaysia are quite complex
