We applied about 3 weeks ago, when my gf went in they offered an expedited service for THB which guaranteed a two week service. The quoted time was 6 weeks without any extra payment.

we have just done an application last week, current processing time is 6 weeks plus. We were offered a “expedited service” at the VFS office for THB, and as our trip is in four weeks we coughed up.

not true, certainly not in my experience. The application is processed in India, not Thailand, so unless they have some special relationship with India they are only doing a service.

exactly, when we spoke to an agent after she said, they are looking for a reason to refuse, so give them so much information and proof there’s nothing they can use as an excuse for denial.

I applied myself the first time and met all the criteria requested. Application was refused, and I have used an agent the next three times without any issues. Basically you need to bombard them with a mountain of evidence and as already posted by others, one of the biggest items is a compelling reason for her to return to Thailand after the holiday. Our application is typically 2-300 pages of photos and messages etc
