Wayne Roberts, I'm following your tread. I got my one year non O last April in CW. I'd like to know to if Im required to have an insurance on my return from overseas? When you register online upon return will it ask you about insurance, and what will be the response if it's not required for a non-O retirement issued in Thailand? Thank you for the great info.
Garrett Greenwald, iam getting confused or just old and nervous, may I ask you which are the right steps to do as I plan to travel to USA in June. I just got my one year retirement O status last April and one reentry permit. I am planning to travel this June. Not so sure what requirements are needed prior and return travel. I'm getting my vaccine travel card next week which I'm sure is required anywhere, as you know I don't or not required to have health insurance, would I be required to get one, if so, the $10k but what would be the effective duration?, Do I need Thai pass outbound and inbound?, My r/t airline ticket terminates back here, would I need other documents? What about atk' or health tests? I'm leery about the whole process, I got a no go to person. Appreciate any great advise from the source. Thank you.
I got a retirement O that does not require an insurance lives in Bangkok. Please, i like to understand and clear in my mind that if I travel overseas and upon my return to Thailand complying to all the requirements i.e., I got my vaccine travel card, register with Thai pass. My two fold question are: a) am I allowed one way ticket back to Thailand? b) $10,000 health insurance what would be the duration start/end of the coverage if I live here? This rules are concerning me much. Thank you for any response and great advise.
