TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the $10,000 health insurance requirement for entering Thailand. Various insurance providers like FWD, AXA, and Luma are recommended, with shared links for obtaining coverage. Participants are also clarifying whether the insurance needs to cover the entire visa duration and addressing specifics regarding travel back to Thailand under different visa types.

I got a retirement O that does not require an insurance lives in Bangkok. Please, i like to understand and clear in my mind that if I travel overseas and upon my return to Thailand complying to all the requirements i.e., I got my vaccine travel card, register with Thai pass. My two fold question are: a) am I allowed one way ticket back to Thailand? b) $10,000 health insurance what would be the duration start/end of the coverage if I live here? This rules are concerning me much. Thank you for any response and great advise.

Oh yeah … insurance that won’t pay for the Thai Hospitel bill… make sure you’ve got your atm card handy just in case when traveling to Thailand during omicron season …
