I've got a multiple entry retired O visa. I entered Oct 11, 2019, so, 90 days is till Jan 11, 2020? If I plan to travel out of thailand on the 15th of January, do I pay penalty for 3 days past the 90day or we got a 7 day grace period past 90 days making it 97 days. What's the hard rule? Thank you for any reliable information. Cheers.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the 90-day reporting rules related to their multiple entry Retired O visa in Thailand, specifically concerning potential penalties if they leave after the 90-day period ends. Comments clarified how to calculate the 90 days from the entry date, noted the ability to report online for future obligations, and confirmed that the user can leave on January 15 without penalty if they report their stay properly.

If you count the days and day number 90 is before the 15th of Jan or the date you leave Thailand, you have to report that you did stay 90 days inside Thailand. If day number 90 is later than the day you lave then you can leave without reporting. In both cases you start counting again on the day of arrival as day number 1.

Wow, thank you all for these well informed advise. So I'll go for my 90 day reporting 2 weeks prior 11jan and just fly out on the 15th without hassle. I was thinking I could skip that gruelling dreaded day to go to the IO. Thank you again much appreciate.

If you made a 90 day report at the office once, the following times you can use the on line report system. Just sit at home, using your computer between 15 and 7 days before due date and done in a few minutes. The link:

What you have to do now is calculate the days, starting on 11 Oct 2019 as day number 1 and report yourself at immigration between day nr 75 and 96.

On the bottom page left is a big stamp with the text Re-Entry Permit, with the number if entries multiple and the same end date 29 April 2020. With this permit you can leave and come back and on each entry you will get the same last day 29 April 2020, as you did get on your last entry of 11 Oct 2019, stamp top page left.

You do not have a Visa. And there things go wrong in advice.

According your picture on the page down right there is a big stamp with in the second line: Extension of Stay is permitted up to 29 April 2020.

This means you do not have to leave the country, but you have to report that your are 90 days inside the Country.

Thanks for all the input. On my multiple visa stamp, it say valid until 29 April 2020. Sorry for lack of info provided. So, does the expiry date help or I should just go to chengwattana IO for 90 reporting. Thanks.

Thanks Bobby, it's my first and a bit confused so I got my passport and took a picture of stamp. I'm only narrow thinking of the 90 day. See attached

. You need to forget about what's on your visa. What they go by is what is on your entry stamp.

You entered Thailand on Oct 11,2019. To save you the calculations the immigration officer put a new stamp in your passport with

visa class Non O,

date of arrival
*****
/2019 and

Admitted until ../../..

That is the date that you have to leave Thailand. Example of this stamp:

thanks Robert, I attached my entry stamp. I was overthinking I guess, aren't we suppose to be stamped sometime about every 90days? To process 2 weeks before 90 and 7 days after as "grace period". I'm asking?
