I would save my money and wait a while.. not worth going there for a week or 2 now.. 4 weeks or more yes go otherwise not worth the dramas with things changing weekly

It will be all different for everybody... I mean are you going to eat street food for 50baht or want buffet seafood lunches at hotels for 800baht.
