This actually might be some insight as to why people are asked more questions - I recently posted that I made it through without any questions other than if it was my first time reentering - but I didn’t mention that my DTV was obtained in the U.S. thanks for the post and it seems you might have identified one of the reasons why some are getting more questions than others!
yes and usually DMK is more problematic than BKK in my experience - so that’s good to hear - I’m flying back in Sunday on my DTV (but mine is not soft - so hard???🤣)
the context here is Reentry though - so that implies people that have already entered on their approved visas - as far as I’m aware we aren’t talking about ppl first entering on their DTV. My thought is that a lot of the initial batch of DTVs were approved and they may put more scrutiny on the ‘soft’ DTV vs the others. Once again, this is just me speculating.
They might be checking the ‘soft’ DTV’s (like Muai Thai lessons) harder than the actual ‘online job’ approvals. DTV was also approved for medical appointments, so I imagine they might be checking these.
while it’s easy, some of the questions are not straightforward because of THENGLISH. I did my form myself, and was approved, but it is definitely not easier than wiping your backside unless you’re the size of the main character in THE WHALE.
yeah you also don’t need help to pay your taxes - but ppl pay to have them done all the time - why? Because time is money friend - and sometimes it’s cheaper to pay someone else to do it. Also, if you make a mistake and your application is denied - it costs you more than paying for someone to help you.
