Hello again everyone - thank you for your responses on my last question. While using the Thai E-Visa site, I do not see an option for the STV visa -- is it not available on their website? I have seen all the steps needed for the STV visa, but I'm unsure how to apply since I wanted to do the E-visa. Thank you so much.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The STV visa is available on the Thai E-Visa site, but it may not be initially visible until you select the appropriate options. Users need to ensure they choose 'tourist visa' and indicate a duration of stay of no longer than 90 days for the STV option to appear. Additionally, applicants must provide pre-booked, pre-paid accommodations for 90 days and the hotel owner's tax ID. For further details on the application process, it is advised to consult the Thai embassy or consulate website.

To acquire the STV visa, you will need to show PRE-BOOK, PRE-PAID accommodations for 90 days, with the hotel owner's tax ID number. To acquire a 90 day extension of stay based on STV, you may need to show the same requirements.

The ASQ is a 14 day quarantine for people who are not vaccinated, or people from certain countries. And the test-n-go is also for people who are vaccinated, and people from other countries. Ask your Thai consulate for more information.

I'm not going to let ideas on how to skirt the laws about getting the STV in the group, sorry. The rules are clear about the STV.

So here's the only confusing document I was referring to

After you choose the passport type, the purpose of visit is under section tourist visa, the option duration of stay no longer than 90 days.

Than the STV will show up automatically

Follow up question - the e-visa asks for the visa application as a document, but I don't see any other references to a visa application - is there a standard application or special STV application I need to fill for that? Thanks so much everyone!

Yes, when you select duration of stay no longer than 90 days, it will then select the STV option! Thanks so much!

Found it here...on the Washington DC portal...

It can be applied for using the Evisa online system...

Type of Visas to Thailand

Tourist (TR/STV)

For Tourism purposes (Visa Exemption scheme)

Tourist visa (TR - Single entry and METV multiple entries)

Special Tourist visa (STV) - single entry only

STV is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance. Travelers must enter Thailand within the said 3-month period. They will be allowed to stay in Thailand for a period of up to 90 days, counting from the date of entry. STV may be extended twice while the visitor is in Thailand for a period of up to 90 days per each extension.

STV cannot be changed to any other type of visa during the duration of stay in Thailand

STV can be chose on Thai E-visa portal (Tourism purpose and stay no longer than 90 days). Please note that STV required more documents than regular Tourist Visa. (click here for more information)

I am stumped too...I don't see the STV visa as an Evisa option.

But I FOUND IT ...SEE REPLY BELOW 😊

Possibly others know where it is. But I think its one visa which requires submission of STV visa application to the Thai Embassy/Consulate for action.
