Sorry for the train wreck ! Ok, thanks for confirming that the re-entry permit will also cancel on the date written on the cancelation paperwork - this will be 31st July 2023. I'll bounce out and in on this date as per your recommendation.

thanks for your reply. I'm already in Thailand working and coming to the end of my contract. I'm just considering staying on 6 months + for some R&R. As it's expensive to travel back to UK just to get a METV, I'm thinking maybe a 90 day non O then fly out to a neighboring country to get a SETV, with a 30 day extension, this should give me 6 months and if I need more, I can go do a border bounces.

Thank you guys for your advice. Mike Gaudet has now confirmed that I do not need to attend immigration at this time and wait for further instructions at the end of the month 😊
