Hi Guys, Quick question for you. Does a 90 day report window open up on Arrival or on Admittance? For example: If I have a 90 day Non- O ( retirement) and the stamp for this visa gives an admittance date, does the 90 day report window open up from this admittance date or indeed the day I actually arrived in the country and was stamped in visa exempt?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting for a Non-O visa in Thailand starts from the actual arrival date into the country, not from the admittance date stamped on the visa. Travelers should remember that if transitioning from a visa-exempt entry to a Non-O visa, the count towards the 90-day requirement begins from the arrival date, and it is advisable to focus on the reporting only after acquiring the one-year extension for retirement.
