Hi everyone! I have a question for people who have applied for the DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) in Hanoi.

For the bank balance certificate / bank statement required for the application, how close did the issue date need to be to the visa application date?

For example, does the document need to be issued within 30 days of applying, or is there a stricter requirement?

Also, if you applied in Hanoi, I’d really appreciate hearing about your timeline and experience (how long the process took, whether additional documents were requested, etc.).

Thank you so much in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The issuance date for bank statements required for the DTV Visa application should be as close to the application date as possible. Users have reported that it is preferable to avoid delays by having statements current to the application time, with suggestions to ensure documents are updated to prevent additional requests for newer statements. Applicants can print bank statements whenever needed, but there are questions about the re-issuance of older statements.

Since you need proof for 3 months, how do you get a statement from 3 months ago re-issued? My bank statements don’t even have a date of issue, only timeframes of the statement, eg February 1st to February 28th.
